2016/2017 Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon Policies and Terms & Conditions

SANITARIUM WEET-BIX KIDS TRYATHLON WET WEATHER & CANCELLATION POLICY

The Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon Event Management Team (SWKTET) always strives to ensure that events happen as advertised. However, with reference to the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon Health and Safety plan, the SWKTET reserves the right to alter/cancel any event should circumstances require.

Every effort will be made for those registered to participate in a Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event as advertised. In exceptional circumstances (for Health & Safety reasons) the event structure may be forced to change to one of the following formats:

  • Duathlon (Run, Bike, Run)
  • Aquathon (Swim, Run)
  • Fun Run Event (Run only)

Alteration/Cancellation of a Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event will be determined by SWKTET on the morning of the event (or in extreme circumstances prior to the event date).

Should the SWKTET deem it necessary to modify the course/event or cancel any of the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon events, the following action will be taken:

  • Any change to an event will be communicated to all present via the Course Director over the Public Address System.
  • Regular communication of any changes will be provided via the Public Address system.
  • Any cancellation details will be sent out via text message to the nominated person who listed their details on the registration form of the participant.

In the circumstances of a full cancellation, details will be sent out via text message to the nominated person as soon as possible.

In the circumstances of a full cancellation prior to the event date participants will also receive notification via email to the address supplied during registrations.

In the event of a complete cancellation of a Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event, a FULL refund will apply (please see Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon Refund Policy).

SANITARIUM WEET-BIX KIDS TRYATHLON REFUND POLICY

Cancellation/alteration of event

  • Refunds will be issued upon a FULL cancellation of a Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event.
  • Upon the FULL cancellation of an event, Sanitarium will refund all registered participants to the credit card from which the registration fee was deducted. Refunds will take place within 2 weeks of the cancelled event date.
  • If the credit card is no longer available, a refund will be made by cheque or direct deposit to the registered participants nominated bank account, please contact tryathlon@sanitarium.com.au to make this arrangement.

Cancellation by participants

  • Cancellation of registration by participants will incur a $10 cancellation fee provided that the cancellation is requested by email to tryathlon@sanitarium.com.au prior to the published event closing date.
  • No refunds will be given for cancellations after the published event closing date.
  • In the event where the participant has already received their TRYathlete Kit, an additional $10 will be charged if they wish to keep the kit. This $10 will not be charged if the TRYathlete kit is returned to the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon Team within 10 days of cancellation.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

By entering into the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon you are aware of and agree to abide by the following conditions;

1.  WEET-BIX KIDS TRYATHLON TRANSITION AREA

  • The Transition Area constitutes part of the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon race course, and as such, only participants currently racing are permitted to enter.
  • HELP TEAM Marshals will be unable to make exceptions to this.
  • Access to equipment in the Transition Area will not be permitted until after the last person in your age group bracket has completed the TRYathlon. This will be announced on the day by the MC over the PA system. Age brackets are defined as follows.
    Older age group bracket (11-15 year olds) Younger age group bracket (7-10 year olds)  Please note if larger numbers deem necessary there may be a third age group bracket added on the day. This will be at the discretion of the SWKTET.
  • Entering a Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon constitutes agreement to adhere to this condition, put in place for the safety of all competitors and event staff.

2.  WEET-BIX KIDS TRYATHLON LOST PROPERTY

  • Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon takes no responsibility for any property lost at our Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon events.
  • If you have lost an item of property, we recommend that you check in at the Information/Meeting Point Tent during the event to see if it has turned up.
  • At the conclusion of each event all lost property is collected, sorted and listed on a spread sheet by our Event Management Team. Any items that can be identified by name, participant number or telephone number are initially separated and the participant is contacted to collect the item.
  • All remaining items are packed, labelled, sealed and placed in storage in our Event Containers.
    • The spread sheet of any remaining items is emailed to our team at Sanitarium Head Office in Sydney on tryathlon@sanitarium.com.au
  • Post event please email tryathlon@sanitarium.com.au  as soon as possible with a description of the item you may have lost and they will let you know if this item was collected by the SWKTET.
  • Items that are not claimed within a three month period after the event shall be disposed of in a timely manner.

3.  WEET-BIX KIDS TRYATHLON EVENT TIMING

  • Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon events are subject to variations in weather and the event course on event day. These conditions, as well as the speed with which participants complete the course, impact the length of our event.
  • In all instances where timing information is provided, this is approximate. Weet-Bix Kids Tryathlon takes no responsibility for any losses incurred due to events running overtime.

4.  WEET-BIX KIDS TRYATHLON FAIR PLAY

  • The Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon is about participation and Fair Play. By entering the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event, you agree to abide by the principles of Fair Play; respect for the rules, courtesy, just and equitable treatment for all participants, spectators and event volunteers alike.
  • We also encourage all spectators present on the day to encourage and cheer for all participants present, and to equally abide by the principles of Fair Play. Thank you for your support.

SANITARIUM WEET-BIX KIDS TRYATHLON ENTRY WAIVER

(this is noted with check boxes during the registration process & also on the On The Day Entry Forms)

PLEASE NOTE: It is a condition of entry that images and photographs of your child/ward taken by official Sanitarium photographers including Supersport Images can and will be used for promotional purposes (see terms and conditions for further details). Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company will also provide your child’s details to Supersport Images for the purpose of promoting photographs taken at the event.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. I acknowledge and agree that the terms and conditions set out herein shall apply to each child/ward of mine that I allow to participate. I consent to my child/ward entering (registering) in one of the events in the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon 2017 Series.

2. I acknowledge and agree that my child/ward is between the ages of 7-15 (as at the date of the relevant event).

3. I acknowledge that this event involves the real risk of serious injury or even death from various causes including over exertion, equipment failure, dehydration, accidents with other participants, spectators or road users, course or weather conditions and other causes.

4. I understand that my child/ward should not participate in this event unless they have prepared appropriately.

5. I give consent to my child/ward to participate and accept all risks necessarily flowing from their participation, which could result in their death, physical or mental injury, or the contraction or aggravation of a disease, including during the event or any training undertaken in preparation for the event. Accordingly, to the extent permitted by law, I release and will not hold liable all persons or corporations associated directly or indirectly with the conduct of the event, or training program offered in connection with the event, from all claims, demands and proceedings arising out of their participation and I hereby indemnify them against all liability (including liability for their negligence and the negligence of others) for all injury, loss or damage arising out of or connected with their participation in this event. This release and indemnity shall extend to and include the event organisers, X-Tri Australia, as well as, Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company and their respective directors, partners, managers, officers, agents, contractors, employees and volunteers, including medical and paramedical personnel appointed for the event, the owners, licensees and occupiers of land upon which the event or any part of it is conducted, or any other person or organisation, which is involved directly or indirectly with the conduct of the event in any manner whatsoever, including promoters, and sponsors. This release and indemnity continues forever and binds my heirs, executors, personal representatives and assigns.

6. I consent to my child/ward receiving any medical treatment that the event organisers think reasonable during or after the event. I understand that medical and paramedical personnel are appointed for this event.

7. I understand that compulsory insurance cover affected for participants by way of one day membership of Triathlon Australia in this event may not cover my child/ward for all injury, loss or damage sustained by my child/ward.

8. Safety precautions undertaken by the organisers (such as course supervision, participation safety briefings, and bicycle safety checks) are a service to my child/ward and other participants but are not a guarantee of safety. I acknowledge and accept that while the organisers take reasonable precautions to supervise my child/ward during their attendance at the event, I am ultimately responsible for their supervision and agree to attend the event to ensure appropriate supervision.

9. I acknowledge and accept that my child/ward will be fully responsible for the security of their personal possessions at the event.

10. My child’s/ward’s registration is not transferable to any other person. I accept that if my child’s/ward’s entry form and payment is not received by Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company by the relevant and stated online registration closing date for the event entered into, my child/ward may not be able to participate in any of the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon events. If Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company chooses to accept late entries for any reason, a $10 late fee will occur per individual or family entry.

11. I understand that my child’s/ward’s entry fee may be refunded if the event is cancelled due to war, state of emergency, disaster, flood, torrential rain or other like ‘ACT OF GOD’, or for any other health and safety reason, as determined by Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company.

12. If the event is cancelled by Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company, for any reason other than listed in Condition 11, I understand that my child’s/ward’s entry fee is fully refundable. The amount refunded is in accordance with what was actually paid by you. I will abide by the decision of Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company to cancel the event if they feel it is necessary.

13. I acknowledge and agree that if I or my child/ward wishes to cancel their already completed registration for the 2017 Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event, after the relevant stated online registration closing date, for any reason whatsoever, then I and my child/ward will not receive any refund. I understand that there will be a cancellation fee payable if I or my child/ward cancels their registration before the relevant stated registration closing date.

14. While the event organisers will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that event is conduct as advertised, I acknowledge that by reason of circumstances beyond the control of the event organisers, it may become necessary or desirable to change the form of the event and if that occurs, I consent to the changes and I agree that each and every one of the conditions set out herein shall apply to that changed event.

15. I acknowledge and agree that as part of the registration process to provide my telephone number and information about my child/ward’s medical, physical, dietary conditions and/or allergies, from which my child/ward suffers, that might affect their performance, or be relevant if medical treatment is needed, or if drinks or food are provided. I acknowledge and agree that this information and my child/ward’s address details can appear on my child/ward’s registration number, which they will be required to wear during the event.

16. I acknowledge that images and photographs of my child/ward will be taken by official Sanitarium photographers including Supersport Images and I agree that such images can be used for promotional purposes for an indefinite period, without any further remuneration. I also consent to Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company providing my child’s details to Supersport Images for the purpose of promoting photographs taken at the event, for an indefinite period, without any further remuneration. I acknowledge that I also have the option to purchase images of my child/ward and agree to the following terms and conditions, which will apply if I select and pay for the digital photo pack during registering my child/ward for the 2017 Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event: (a) I understand that the digital images will not be provided as printed photographs, and will be provided as downloadable digital images; (b) I understand that all images are full resolution electronic downloadable images only; (c) I understand that photographers are positioned at the swim, ride, run and medal location, however images at each location cannot be guaranteed. Accordingly, I understand that I may not receive an image of my child/ward at all locations; (d) I understand that my child/ward must wear their identification number in a clear and prominent fashion during and after the event to enable the best chance of photographing my child/ward; (e) I understand that after the event I will be sent an email from Supersport Images containing my user name and password, and in order to receive my child/ward’s digital images I must follow the directions and redeem the images online by 30/06/2017; (f) I understand that Sanitarium and Supersport Images is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected correspondence and that I must contact Supersport Images within 2 weeks of the applicable event if I have not received the email containing your user name and password to access the images; (g) I acknowledge that the images of my child/ward may contain other participants; (h) I acknowledge that the pre-order fee for the digital photo pack is $16.69 (including GST).

17. I acknowledge and agree that I have given permission to pay for the fee via my credit card (if paying via credit card) and take full responsibility for such payment.

18. I acknowledge and understand that when using an applicable discount code, it must be entered in the ‘Discount Code’ field when completing an online registration or in the space provided on any hard copy registration form. I acknowledge and understand that discount codes are limited to the use of one code per transaction. I acknowledge and understand that using a discount code does not guarantee entry into any event and registration details that include a discount code must be submitted prior to the online registration closing date or before the event sells out. I acknowledge and understand that all discount codes expire on Sunday 28 May at 8.15am.

19. I acknowledge and agree that before my child/ward is entered as part of a Group, a Group must be registered (at no cost) by a parent/guardian, school representative or club representative with the express intent of establishing a Group with a minimum of 5 participants. I acknowledge and agree that if I act as the parent/guardian, school representative or club representative registering a Group I am solely responsible for ensuring that there is a minimum of 5 Group Members participating in the event and that I may be liable to pay the difference between the individual price and the Group discounted price should a minimum of 5 Group Members not be reached by the relevant and stated online registration closing date for the event entered into.

20. I acknowledge and agree that if I enter my child/ward as part of a team of two (a), then my child/ward will compete in the event with another child, undertaking one of the stages; (b) I must pay the fee for my own child or ward; (c) and Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company is not responsible should a parent or guardian of a team member fail to pay or agree to these conditions, and therefore their child or ward is unable to participate in the event. I acknowledge that if my child’s or ward’s stage of the event is cancelled, then my child or ward may need to undertake another stage on the day of the event.

21. I acknowledge the following statement applies to the collection of my and my child’s/ward’s personal information:

Your information and your child’s/ward’s personal information is used for the purpose of conducting the event, and such other purposes as set out in our privacy policy, and this information may be shared with third parties who are involved in conducting the event, including those located in the New Zealand, and you consent for this to occur. While overseas parties are subject to privacy obligations, you accept that such obligations may differ from and be less stringent than the requirements of the privacy laws of Australia. If the personal information is not provided then your child/ward may not participate. I understand that my child’s/ward’s name and postcode will appear on the Weet-Bix TRYathlon 2017 website once they are registered. I consent, unless I otherwise advise: (a) to Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company using my child’s/ward’s personal details including name, and also image and photograph before, during or after the event, for promotional, marketing, broadcasting, reporting or surveying purposes in any media worldwide, including but not limited to, for the purpose of promoting Weet-Bix TRYathlon current and future events held in Australia and New Zealand; (b) allowing Super Sports Images to include my child’s/ward’s photograph and details on their website. To opt out of direct marketing from Sanitarium, make a complaint about the treatment of personal information, or to access, update or correct any information contact Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company on 1800 989 999. Sanitarium’s privacy policy is available at tryathlon.com.au/privacy-policy.

22. I acknowledge and agree that my child/ward must abide by, and my child/ward agrees to abide by all participation rules and directions issued by Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company and the event organisers. I acknowledge and agree that I, being the parent/legal guardian of the child/ward participating in the 2017 Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event, have read this document and I understand and accept the conditions it contains.

Event Day Social Media Competition TERMS & CONDITIONS

•      Entrants must post same day photos of the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon (SWKT) to Instagram, Twitter and/or Facebook and use the hashtag #aussiekidstry in each instance.

•      To be eligible, privacy settings must be set to PUBLIC.

•      Sanitarium will select the photo that, in its sole discretion, best captures SWKT and announce the winner via the medium used by the winner to upload.

•      Winner must be present at the event to collect their prize otherwise Sanitarium will select a new winner.

•      The Weet-Bix prize (towel) is valued at $20.00 and is not negotiable, transferable or redeemable for cash or any other equivalent.

•      Sanitarium reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions of this competition at any time.

Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon – Digital Photo Pack – Terms and Conditions 2016/2017

I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions, which will apply if I select and pay for the digital photo pack during

registering my child/ward for the 2016 / 2017 Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event series in Australia and New Zealand.

a. I understand that the digital images will not be provided as printed photographs, and will instead be

provided as downloadable digital images which are to be download from

www.supersportimages.com

b. I understand that all images are full resolution electronic downloadable images only of approx 1

megabyte.

c. I understand that photographers are positioned at the swim, ride, run and medal location, however

images at each location cannot be guaranteed. Accordingly, I understand that I may not receive

any specific image of my child/ward at all locations;

d. I understand that my child/ward must wear their identification number in a clear and prominent

fashion during and after the event to enable the best chance of photographing my child/ward;

e. I understand that after the event I will be sent an email from Supersport Images containing access

instruction and in order to receive my child/ward's digital images I must follow the directions and

redeem the images in a timely manner.

f. I understand that Sanitarium and Supersport Images is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected

correspondence and that I must contact Supersport Images directly if I have not received the email

containing instructions to access the images;

g. I acknowledge that the images of my child/ward may contain other participants;

h. I acknowledge that the pre-order fee for the digital photo pack for New Zealand events is NZ$13.75

(inc 15% GST) and for Australian events is AU$16.16 for individual (inc. 10% GST).

Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon 2017 – Event Draw Terms & Conditions

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.

2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged between 7 and 15 years inclusive who, with the consent of their parent or guardian, fully complete the registration, including making full payment, to participate in a ‘Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon 2017’ series event. To register the individuals will need to visit www.tryathlon.com.au, follow the links and register online or download a registration form.

3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

4. Only one (1) entry per person permitted throughout the promotional period.

5. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

6. Promotion will be promoted from 14 November 2016. Online registration closes for each event at 11:59pm AEDST/AEST (as the case requires) on the dates outlined in the table below, unless closed earlier due to a particular event reaching its field capacity. To be entered into the draw, individuals who have registered for an event prior to that event’s online registration close date must attend their event on the date and at the location outlined in the table below, and check-in with the event organisers prior to their Event Check-in Closing Time, as stipulated in the table below. Individuals who register for an event after the online registration close date for that event, who do not attend their event, or who do not check in with the event organisers prior to their Event Check-in Closing time will not be entered into the draw.

7. A draw in respect of each event will take place at each Event Location during the event on the dates outlined in the table below and before the completion of each event, once Check-in has been completed. The draw for the Canberra event will take place at the Event Location on 12 February 2017 at 9.30am. Winners will be announced at each event location before the completion of each event. Winners will be notified in writing within 2 days of the draw. Winners of prizes valued at over $250 from the Adelaide event will be published at www.tryathlon.com.au on 3 May 2017.

8. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. In each draw for each event, entries will first be divided into the following four (4) categories: Boys Aged 7-10, Girls Aged 7-10, Boys Aged 11-15 and Girls Aged 11-15. The first valid entry drawn at each event in the Boys Aged 7-10 category will win a TREK bike valued at $449. The first valid entry drawn at each event in the Girls Aged 7-10 category will win a TREK bike valued at $449. The first valid entry drawn at each event in the Boys Aged 11-15 category will win a TREK bike valued at $549. The first valid entry drawn at each event in the Girls Aged 11-15 category will win a TREK bike valued at $529.

10. Following the awarding of the above prizes, entries for each draw at each event will be recombined to award the remainder of the prizes as follows: The next four (4) valid entries drawn at each event will each win a $110 ASICS prize pack, consisting of a 30L backpack (RRP $60), a visor (RRP $25), a MP3/iPod Running Pocket (RRP $25) and a Running MP3/iPod Pocket (RRP $20); and the next four (4) valid entries drawn at each event will each win a Arena prize pack valued at $102.50, consisting of a mesh bag (RRP $20), Kickboard (RRP $35), Cruiser Soft Jnr Goggles (RRP $20), a goggles case (RRP $15) and a Classic Silicone Jnr Cap (RRP $12.50); and the next four (4) valid entries drawn at each event will each win a Bontrager helmet valued at $54.95.

11. All prizes will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf.

12. If for any reason a winner does not redeem the prize or an element of the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.

13. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

14. Total prize value for each event is $3,045.80.

15. Total maximum prize pool awarded in each state is as follows: NSW: up to $6,091.60; ACT: up to $3,045.80; VIC: up to $6,091.60; SA: up to $3,045.80; WA: up to $3,045.80; QLD: up to $9,137.40.

16. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless stipulated otherwise.

17. If there are any unclaimed prizes from an event, then entries for that event will be entered into an unclaimed prize draw to award any unclaimed prizes from that event. If required, a draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 22.08.17 at Sanitarium Health & Wellbeing Company, 1 Sanitarium Drive, Berkeley Vale NSW 2261 at 3pm AEST subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified in writing within 2 days of the draw. Winners, if any, of unclaimed prizes valued at over $250 will be published at www.tryathlon.com.au 29.08.17.

18. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

19. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

20. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

21. Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon 2017 – School Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.

2. Entry is only open to Australian schools that register to participate in the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon 2017 Series. To register, an authorised representative of a school must visit www.tryathlon.com.au and follow the links to register the school in an event prior to the closing time for the event location, as detailed below. At the time of registration, the authorised representative must also register a group name for the school (“Group”), under which students can register their individual participation. The Group name for the school must include the school’s name and the word ‘school’ or ‘college’ to be eligible. Each school is only permitted to register on one occasion.

3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and schools and to disqualify any school that submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

4. Promotion will be promoted from 14 November 2016. Registration closes for each event at 11:59pm AEDST/AEST (as the case requires) on the dates outlined in the table below, unless closed earlier due to a particular event reaching its field capacity. To be entered into the draw, a representative must have registered a Group registration for their school prior to the Online Closing Date for the Event Location and the school must have had at least 15 students join the school’s registered Group when they registered to participate in the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon 2017 Series. Once the school achieves 15 students registered in its Group, the school will receive 15 entries in the prize draw, and will also receive one additional entry in the prize draw for each additional student who registers as a member of the school Group prior to the Online Closing Date for their school’s Event Location.

5. All entries will be entered into a single draw. The prize draw will take place at the Promoter’s office at 1 Sanitarium Drive, Berkeley Vale, NSW, 2261, at 12 pm AEST on 1 June 2017. The winning school will be notified in writing within 2 working days of the draw and will be advertised at www.tryathlon.com.au on 6 June 2017.

6. The first valid entry drawn in the prize draw will win the major prize of a $5,000 cheque to be awarded to the winning school.

7. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. If for any reason a winner does not redeem the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.

9. Total maximum prize pool awarded in this promotion is $5,000.

10. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable.

11. If the prize is unclaimed, then the prize will be entered into an unclaimed prize draw to award. If required, a draw for the unclaimed prize may take place on 26 September 2017 at the Promoter’s Office at 3pm AEST, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. 2017 HAIER HELP TEAM PROMOTION – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Information on how to enter this competition form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Who Can Enter

Entry is only open to Australian residents, aged 18 years or over, who are registered volunteers and members of the Haier Help Team for the 2017 Sanitarium Weet Bix Kids TRYathlon Series (‘Kids TRYathlon Series’). Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

This promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer unless otherwise advised.

One entry per registered volunteer only.

Promotional Period

The promotion commences at 9:00am (AEST) on 14 November 2016 and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) 30 May 2017 (Promotional Period). Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Promotional Period. Any entries received after this date will be ineligible.

How to Enter

Visit the Kids TRYathlon Series website (http://tryathlon.com.au/volunteer/) and register as a volunteer and member of the Haier Help Team by completing the registration form. Entrants are responsible for ensuring that complete and correct details are recorded on the registration form. Any cost associated with submitting the entry form is the entrant’s responsibility.

Each entrant must carry out their duties as a volunteer and member of the Haier Help Team during at least one Kids TRYathlon Series event. Any entrant who does not do so will be disqualified.

Prize

The prize is one Haier Bottom Mount Refrigerator, model number HBM450HSA1, valued at RRP $1,299.00 (incl. GST), plus delivery to the winner’s nominated address, which must be within a qualifying area. The Promoter will arrange a delivery time with the winner and the winner, or his or her representative, must be present at the delivery address to take delivery of the prize. A signature is required upon delivery. The delivery date is dependent upon stock availability. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The prize does not include removal of an old appliance or packaging, or installation.

Prize Draw

All valid entries received during the Promotional Period will go in the draw to win the prize. The prize draw will take place at 9:00am (AEST) on 5 June 2017 at Level 1, 286 West St, Umina NSW 2257

The winner will be the first valid entry drawn at random.

Unclaimed Prize Draw

The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of a prize winner being uncontactable, unable to satisfy these Terms & Conditions, forfeiting or not claiming the prize. If required the Promoter will conduct a further draw on 5 September 2017  at Level 1, 286 West St, Umina NSW 2257. The winner of this draw will be notified in writing using the details listed on the winner’s entry form and their name will be published on our website.

General

Winners take any prize at their own risk.

The Promoter will not be liable for any prizes that are lost, stolen, misdirected or damaged and will not replace them.

  2. Draw Prize/s and how each is awarded: Winners will be determined by random draw for each Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon location in 2017. Two valid winners (one from each survey) from each 2017 Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event will receive one (1) free entry into the respective 2018 Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon event. Each winner will receive a discount coupon code, valid for one use, to be entered during the online registration process when registering for the 2018 event after online registrations open in October 2017.
  1. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  1. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.
